SLC eliminates annoying and/or potentially dangerous accidental light activations while lights are holstered on a belt. SLC automatically powers the LE-1+ OFF and keeps it OFF while in the holster or charger, even if a power switch is accidentally pressed (e.g. sitting down into a vehicle).
An optional programming feature can automatically return the LE-1+ to its ON/OFF state and mode it was using when it was holstered or docked – creating one less thing an officer must do when deploying their light.
